| 수업주제 | 학생들에게 국제산림학에 대한 이슈와 트렌드를 이해하게 하고, 국제임업에 관련된 문제와 정책적 안건에 분석하고 토론하는 것을 목표로 한다. 주요 강의 주제는 국제 임업 관련 제도와 산림 산업에 대해 배우고, 나고야 의정서와 생물다양성, 기후변화에 따른 UNFCCC와 REDD+ 및 산촌 보상 제도, FLEGT와 국제 산림 무역 그리고 산림인증제도와 지속가능한 산림에 대해 토론하고 배운다. |

| 수업 목적 및 목표 | 국제임업론 수업은 수강생들에게 기후변화로 인해 고통 받는 세계산촌과 그에 대응하는 산림 제도와 정책에 대해 중점적으로 강의함. 사회공헌과 관련하여 국제임업론 수업에서는 지구온난화 시대에 맞서 산림을 효과적으로 관리하기 위한 산림 보호지역관리 정책과 이러한 정책이 경제적인 소득을 숲에 의존하고 있는 지역주민들의 자원이용을 제한하면서 발생하는 갈등관계를 제도적으로 해결할 수 있는 방안을 모색함. 수강생들이 수업시간에 강의실에서 배운 지속가능한 산림을 위한 국제적 산촌 정책ㆍ제도를 숲에서 경제적 소득을 의존하는 서울대학교 남부학술림 인근 마을 주민들과의 면담을 통해 국제 산촌과 한국 산촌 현실의 비교를 통해 시사점을 도출하여 숲을 둘러싼 산촌주민을 위한 효율적인 제도적 정책방안을 구축 연습하는 데에 목적이 있다. |

| 활동목적 | 지리산 국립공원 산촌마을 주민과의 심층 인터뷰를 통해 산림 생태계서비스를 이해하고 반달곰과의 공존 문화를 이해하고 홍보하기 위해 만들어진 곰깸축제에 참가하여 일손을 돕고 외부 관광객들에게 홍보하는 사회 공헌 활동을 하고자 함. | ||
| 활동내용 | 1. 반달곰 복원사업에 대한 주민들의 인식조사에 대한 설문을 산촌마을 주민을 대상으로 실시하여 지역 주민들의 그것에 대한 인식을 분석함 2. 곰깸축제 참여 및 일손돕기를 통해 지역주민이 갖고 있는 반달곰에 대한 부정적인 인식을 전환하기 위한 활동을 진행하였고, 남녀노소 부담없이 참여할 수 있는 축제를 형성하기 위해 다양한 사회공헌활동을 수행함. |

| 활동소감 | The participation is a volunteer, it is common responsible for work in society, but important thing is lesson leant from community such as livelihood with villagers, saw shown traditional artistic and multiple cultures within the community that the villagers organized the annual festival in small communities with a lot of activities. My point of view shown that grasping the existing favorable conditions of nature is a key to success of ecotourism in community. The ecotourism service with home stay model in community village achieves sustainable development: environmentally, economically and socially sustainable. Also, this model can contribute to the community development without deterioration natural resources and environment not only for the present but also for the future generations. It has also been learnt that infrastructure (road network) plays an important role in development of tourism industry in the community area. This model would be applicable in other areas, in particular, where natural assets are still virgin and roads networks are appropriately constructed. However, it is important that the measures to mitigate the adverse impact of the project should be integrated in the development plan (for example proper waste management system should be integral part of the development plan).
