The Seoul National University Social Responsibility (SNUSR), founded in 2013, celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2023. Over the past 10 years, the SNUSR has served as a platform to promote various social contribution activities and volunteer works at Seoul National University, fostering social responsibility-related education programmes, domestic social volunteering projects, and international development cooperation.
As we embark on another decade for its long-term roadmap, the SNUSR will continue to not only promote diverse programmes for enhancing social accountability of Seoul National University but also work together with the Korean society and the global community to create a more innovative and inclusive social solidarity based on knowledge sharing.
We will fulfill our mission as a leading university of social accountability by generating social values on the basis of SNUSR’s key principles of inclusiveness and local empowerment, under the United Nations’ Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) slogan: “No one should be left behind.”
We ask for your active participation in the great transformation of the SNUSR, Seoul National University, and global society. Seoul National University’s social accountability is what you make it!
Kim Taekyoon,
Chair of the SNU Social Responsibility
